Imagine Remodeling is Fresno’s only certified aging-in-place specialist (CAPS) and is accredited by the National Association of Home Builders. As a Certified Aging in Place Specialist, Imagine Remodeling specializes in “Universal Design”. Universal design emphasizes home modifications that enable homeowners  to continue living in their space regardless of their ability level. 

Today, 85% of seniors are choosing to stay in their home over moving into assisted living or living with family members. We help homeowners reconfigure their space to best fit their needs and give them the power to make their own decision about their future. 

Age-in-place is a specific type of designing and remodeling that accounts for the unique lifestyle of the homeowner and how it might change in 10, 20 or 30+ years. Age-in-place is beneficial to all, but can be extra helpful for those with disabilities, injuries, unique professions, or other special circumstances.

Aging-in-place remodeling is similar to our general remodeling practices with one major difference: The designing phase focuses on safety and ease of use for all members of the family and guests. As we age, it can be more difficult to do what used to be simple tasks. As a certified aging-in-place specialist, we can help you stay in your home safely for as long as possible.
